Tips that apply to all roles.
  • Sign in early to the Zoom meeting to ensure that you are ready when the meeting starts.
  • Start an online folder or actual folder that includes anything you need to fulfill a meeting role, e.g.:
    • A timing device (stop watch), in case you are timer or use this online timer.
    • Green, yellow red timing cards, in case you are timer. (Download and use as virtual backgrounds)
    • A motivation quote or two in case you are called on
    • Have a few 'words-of-the day' ready for a last minute fill in.
    • Perhaps a small flag handy
  • Always have a Pathways speech prepared, for last minute fill ins.
  • Prepare a set or two of table topics, for last minute fill in.
  • Have a 'theme of the day' prepared incase you need to fill in as TMOD.
Here's a suggestion that will prepare you for any role for weeks to come and it will only take about 30 minutes.

Create an online folder - include 3-4 sets of table topics; find 3-4 words of the day; a few motivational messages. Keep a stop watch and colored paper or card stock and a small flag at the ready.

Look at the next project or two and prepare them BEFORE you are scheduled. Then you will always be ready.
